<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device that easily removes adhesive deposited on a width-regulating guide member from a lateral end face of a sheet material, and an image forming device including the same. <P>SOLUTION: On both sides of a sheet stacking plate 28, there are a pair of width-regulating guide members 40a, 40b that laterally position a sheet 26 stacked on the sheet stacking plate 28, along a guide groove formed in a cassette base 25, so as to move back and forth in sheet width direction. On a guide surface (inner surface) of the width-regulating guide member 40a, there are two ribs 43 substantially vertical to sheet feeding direction. On the upstream of the ribs 43 with respect to the sheet feeding direction, an open hole 45 is formed adjacent to the rib 43. The inner wall surface 45a on the downstream in the sheet feeding direction of the open hole 45, is inclined to the downstream of the sheet feeding direction and to the outside of the width-regulating guide member 40a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
