<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a profile of a specific region from three-dimensional volume data of an ultrasonic wave. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonograph has an inclination value computation section obtaining variations among a plurality of luminance values in the ultrasonic volume data as inclinations, a two-arguments transfer function processing section adjusting the color and opacity of the ultrasonic volume data in accordance with a transfer function which takes the two arguments including the luminance value of the ultrasonic volume data and the inclinations obtained by the inclination value computation section, a rendering section carrying out volume rendering for the ultrasonic volume data whose color and opacity are adjusted by the two-argument transfer function processing section, and a display section displaying the ultrasonic volume data rendered by the rendering section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
