A method of mounting a closure 20, such as a door, to a support 22, 24 includes providing a biased component 40 that engages between the closure and the support. An engagement component 30 also forms part of the mounting. Overcoming the bias facilitates movement and at least partial disengagement of the closure from the support. An associated assembly is also claimed. Where the method or assembly relates to a door, the movement away from the support may serve to prevent the door from being used as a support for a ligature 10. The biased component may be spring-loaded, and the engagement component may incorporate a closed-end guide (70, fig 9) so that the door does not completely disconnect from its support. |
