<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner with enhanced exhaust efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In a body case 2 of the vacuum cleaner 1, an exhaust port 8 is formed in the rear, a dust case 20 partitioning a dust chamber 22 for collecting dust is disposed in the front, and a motor cover 21 covering an electric blower 11 is disposed in the rear. The motor cover 21 partitions a motor chamber 51 formed with an outlet 52 through which air expelled by the electric blower 11 is discharged, on a lower side 21A. A main exhaust air flow path Y is formed by clearances E, F, G between the exterior surface of the motor chamber 51 and an interior wall surface 2B of the body case 2, and directs the air flowing out of the outlet 52 to the exhaust port 8 along the exterior surface of the motor chamber 51. A sub exhaust air flow path X is formed by clearances B, C between the lower side 20B and a lateral surface 20E of the dust chamber 22 and the interior surface 2B of the body case 2, and dissipates part of the air flowing out from the outlet 52 to the clearance B, and also directs it to the rear exhaust port 8 along the exterior surface of the dust chamber 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
