<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a pointer position detection structure in a timepiece with pointer position detection function. <P>SOLUTION: A pointer position detection structure includes: a detection pinion exclusive for a detecting wheel in a drive wheel; a detecting gear arranged on a side different from a display gear in a cross-sectional direction; and detection means or the detection means as well as a substrate mounting the detection means, the detection means or the detection means as well as the substrate being arranged between the detecting gear and a drive gear receiver on a side opposite to the detecting gear. Moreover, in the pointer position detection structure, the number of teeth of the detection pinion of the drive wheel is adjusted such that the diameter of the detecting gear is smaller than that of the display gear. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
