<p>The present invention relates, in a first aspect, to an optically transparent printed antenna comprising a ground plane consisting of a metal mesh, a radiating plane including one or more radiating elements, and an optically transparent dielectric substrate interleaved between the ground plane and the radiating plane, characterized in that the spacing of the ground plane mesh is not uniform, the mesh having, in a first region (5) of the ground plane facing a region of the radiating plane generating strong electromagnetic activity a first, closely spaced mesh size, the mesh opening progressively in the vicinity of said first region, increasing in transparency until it reaches a second mesh spacing, wider than the first mesh spacing, at a second region (7) of the ground plane facing a region of the radiating plane generating weak electromagnetic activity.</p> |
