<p>The present invention relates to a gabion, and more specifically to: a gabion of which manufacture and construction are simple and which is solid in structure: and a construction method thereof. A gabion unit according to the present invention comprises: a stone space having a front surface part (121) formed of a wire net, one pair of side surface parts (125) respectively connected to the both side surfaces of the front surface part (121) and formed of a wire net, a bottom part (123) connected to the lower ends of the front surface part (121) and the side surfaces parts (125) and formed of a wire net, and a rear surface part (141) connected to the remaining side surfaces of the one pair of side surface parts (125) and the end of the bottom part (123) and formed of a wire net; a buried part (143) extending backwards from the lower end of the rear surface part (141) and formed of a wire net; a first support wire (145) fixed to the rear surface part (141) in the right and left directions of the rear surface part (141) and having a strength larger than that of the wire mesh forming the rear surface part; a second support wire (146) fixed to the buried part (143) in the right and left directions of the buried part (143) and having a strength larger than that of the wire mesh forming the buried part; and a third support wire (147) connecting the first support wire (145) and the second support wire (146).</p> |
