<p>The present invention relates to a three-dimensional image display device capable of changing the phase of polarized light of a two-dimensional image by obtaining depth information of a subject, and of providing a three-dimensional image to a viewer by adjusting the transmission and scattering of the polarized light with the changed phase. Disclosed is the three-dimensional image display device comprising: a polarization modulator which generates and outputs the polarized light corresponding to the depth information of the subject in a two-dimensional image signal of the subject; and a display unit which receives the polarized light corresponding to the depth information, and displays the three-dimensional image of the subject by allowing the polarized light to perform at least one of the transmission and the scattering according to the alignment of a liquid crystal.</p> |
