<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a technology effective for protecting a peripheral edge part of an iron cover to be easily damaged, and to provide a device for protecting the peripheral edge part of a steeply-sloped receiving iron cover to which high-grade machining is executed. <P>SOLUTION: The device for protecting the peripheral edge part of an iron cover body supported by a receiving frame of the iron cover for an underground structure includes: a protective member 21 which has a size and a shape for covering a peripheral edge part 17 of an iron cover body 10 and is composed of a stretchable material; and a projection part 22 which has a size and shape fittable with a recessed part 18 formed at the peripheral edge part of the iron cover body, and is provided on an inner surface of the protective member so as to perform positioning for attaching the protective member to the iron cover body by being fitted with the recessed part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
