<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition well balancedly improved in low fuel cost, wet grip performance, and wear resistance; and to provide a pneumatic tire using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains a rubber component, a silica and a liquid resin having a softening point of -20 to 20°C, wherein 100 mass% of the rubber component contains≥5 mass% of the content of a conjugated dienic polymer which has a conjugated diene-based structural unit and a silicon-containing structural unit and at least one terminal of which is modified with a compound represented by formula (II); and the content of the silica with respect to 100 pts.mass of the rubber component is 5 to 150 pts.mass. In the formula, n is an integer of 1 to 10; R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>is a hydrogen atom, a 1-6C hydrocarbyl group or a 1-6C substituted hydrocarbyl group; A<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is an oxygen atom or a -NR<SP POS="POST">4</SP>- group (R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a 1-10C hydrocarbyl group); and A<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is a functional group having a nitrogen atom and/or an oxygen atom. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
