摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a lower irradiation type finger vein authentication device which is compact and highly accurate, by providing structure for stabilizing fingers and preventing adverse effects by right and left fingers. <P>SOLUTION: A finger vein authentication device comprises: a central finger stand 26 for placing an authentication target finger; light sources 3 for radiating infrared light onto the finger; an imaging unit 4 for taking a vein image of the finger by the light radiated from the light sources 3; an opening part 20 which opens in an imaging direction of the imaging unit 4; a storage device 14 for storing biological information of the finger; an authentication processing unit 10 for performing feature extraction from the image taken by the imaging unit 4 and feature collation of the extracted features and the biological information stored in the storage device 14; and right and left finger stands 27 and 28 for placing right and left fingers next to the authentication target finger. The right and left finger stands 27 and 28 are constructed at positions slightly higher than the central finger stand 26. Further, the right and left finger stands 27 and 28 are composed of a light shielding material, and the light sources 3 are installed under the right and left finger stands 27 and 28, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
