<p>The present invention relates to a robot type intelligent pig apparatus where a driving unit is mounted in order to inspect a pipe, and to a power supply method thereof. The pig apparatus comprises: a driving unit which moves a pig; a power supplying unit which supplies driving power to multiple sensing and measuring units placed inside the pig, as well as the driving unit; a power generating unit which generates power supplied to the power supplying unit; and a control unit which controls the operation of the power generating unit. Therefore, the pig apparatus can move even regardless of the interruption of an obstacle such as foreign materials inside a pipe, and can move further inside the pipe until fuel and a battery are all consumed.</p> |
