<p>The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing an extract of Juniperus rigida Sieb. or Juniper berry, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic composition for anti-aging, whitening and/or anti-wrinkling, having superior effects to conventional cosmetic compositions. The present inventors verified excellent pharmacological activities of the Juniper extract as cosmetics by measuring electron donating ability, superoxide radical dismutase (SOD)-like ability, xanthine oxidase inhibitory activity, tyrosinase inhibitory activity, elastase inhibitory activity, and collagenase inhibitory activity of Juniperus rigida Sieb. and/or Juniper berry. Hence, the composition containing the extract of Juniperus rigida Sieb. or Juniper berry can be used as a cosmetic composition for anti-aging, whitening and/or anti-wrinkling, having superior effects to conventional cosmetic compositions.</p> |
