The present invention relates to a system and a method for learning a language. More specifically, the system comprises: a user terminal to receive speech information of a user in a voice or text type and output learning data transmitted through a network to the user in a voice or text type; and a main server including a learning processing unit to analyze a meaning of the speech information of the user, generate at least one response speech candidate corresponding to conversation learning in a certain situation to induce an answer of the user, and connect a conversation according to the situation, and a storing unit which interworks with the learning processing unit to store material data or a conversation model according to the conversation learning.
