<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method of a manufacturing method of a polycarbonate resin granulate comprising continuously feeding an organic solvent solution of a polycarbonate resin to a granulation tank and heating the solution while keeping it in a suspended state in a poor solvent for the polycarbonate resin thereby to evaporate and continuously draw out the organic solvent from the granulation tank to obtain the polycarbonate resin granulate, where the fluctuation in the bulk density of the obtained polycarbonate resin granulate is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method, the linear velocity of vapor of a distillate drawn out through the solvent vapor-discharging pipe is caused to be 2-8 m/sec. In a preferable embodiment, a granulation tank having a ratio (d/D) of the inner diameter (d) of the solvent vapor-discharging pipe to the inner diameter (D) of the granulation tank of 0.01-0.50 is used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
