PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a forgery prevention medium allowing visual confirmation to be easily performed without needing a special apparatus for confirming whether specific information kept by an article is falsified or not; forgery prevention transfer foil formed by forming the same into transfer foil; and a forgery prevention article. SOLUTION: This forgery prevention medium includes first diffraction structures 2 on one surface of a diffraction structure formation layer 4, and second diffraction structures 3 on the other surface thereof.
