The present invention relates to a three-dimensional display device capable of providing a background screen with a variety of colors, comprising: an image panel device for displaying a left image and a right image to alternately display left image columns and right image columns; a parallax barrier device which is installed on the front or back of the image panel device, and partially blocks a particular portion of the image for the left image and the right image to be separated to reach the left eye and the right eye of a viewer, respectively; and a background color lighting device which is installed at the back of the image panel device and displays a plurality of colors to represent various colors and brightness of the image.
