<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition well balancedly improved in low fuel cost, wet grip performance, wear resistance and processability; and to provide a pneumatic tire using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains a rubber component, a silica, and a compound represented by formula (1), wherein 100 mass% of the rubber component contains≥5 mass% of the content of a conjugated dienic polymer which has a conjugated diene-based structural unit and a N-containing vinylsilane unit and at least one terminal of which is modified with a compound selected from a (meth)acrylamide-based compound and a (meth)acrylate-based compound having a N-containing or O-containing substituent; the content of the silica in 100 pts.mass of the rubber component is 5 to 150 pts.mass. In the formula, R<SP POS="POST">11</SP>is a hydrogen atom, a branched or non-branched 1-30C alkyl group, a branched or non-branched 2-30C alkenyl group, a branched or non-branched 6-30C aryl group, or a hydroxyl group; R<SP POS="POST">12</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">13</SP>are identical or different, and are a hydrogen atom, a branched or non-branched 1-30C alkyl group, or the like; and hydrogen atoms of the alkyl group, the alkenyl group, the alkynyl group, and the aryl group may be substituted with hydroxyl groups or carboxyl groups; R<SP POS="POST">11</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">12</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">11</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">13</SP>, or R<SP POS="POST">12</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">13</SP>may form a ring structure; and p is an integer of 0 to 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
