The method involves welding both outer edges of a web of a partially thermoplastic textile material i.e. fleece material, using ultrasound welding and/or laser welding. The welding is performed such that a continuous weld seam with width in a range of 25 to 40 mm is created during welding of the web to a tube. The web of the material is welded in a thickness in a range of 3 to 12 mm, and the tube is produced with diameter in a range of 150 to 1500 mm, where the web has a coating of a material e.g. polyurethane, polypropylene, polyethylene and/or PVC, on an outer side of the tube. An independent claim is also included for a method for restoration of a pipe. |
