A die and a counter-die type bending machine for bending right and right an elongated workpiece (P) includes: a roller-type mold (1) provided therein with a particular circumferential groove (2) stopped at both end portions and driven by a shaft (0) of a motor; and a pair of counter molds (25,26) retained by counter mold support members (19, 20) pivoted on a turret (11), which is rotatably mounted on a slide (8) with a rotation arc about a shaft perpendicular to the slide (80), by a lever (12). The mold (1) includes elongated workpiece holding units (3,4) provided at both end portions of the partial circumferential groove (2). The first and second counter molds selectively operate together with the mold to bend the elongated workpiece (P) left and right according to a required curvature. |
