<p>This utility model disclosed a protective plastic cover for fire hydrant in covering externally threaded water outlet thereof which comprises a cap body having an end wall and a peripheral side wall extending from peripheral side wall. Cap body is provided with threads at the inner surface of peripheral side wall so as to allow cap body to be threadedly secured in covering water outlet of fire hydrant. Cap body has tapered protrusion at the end wall thereof with an annular groove being provided thereon for rotatively securing a loop wire for holding a chain being connected to side wall of fire hydrant. Cap body is provided with a multi-sided projection extending on tapered protrusion which is adapted to be engaged by special wrench for tightening and loosening cap body.</p> |
