<p>The present invention relates to an information collecting system for collecting associated words registered for keywords as information and displaying association therebetween, and an information collecting method thereof. The information collecting system according to the present invention includes an information collecting server, the information collecting server comprising: a keyword registration module for registering and storing keywords; a webpage providing module for providing a webpage on which registered association and related explanation for the keyword are displayed; a related word information registration module for receiving, as a higher keyword, a specific word selected or inputted among words which are displayed with the association therebetween, and registering and storing related words corresponding to the specific word; a related explanation registration module for registering and storing related explanation for the registered related word; an association generation module for generating, in the stored association information, the association of the higher keyword and the related word which are newly registered, and additionally storing the generated association; and a collected information providing module for providing the association and related explanation of the related word newly registered to be additionally displayed on the webpage provided to a user terminal. An information collector of the present invention can grasp the semantic relation of the total related words at a glance by collecting, as related words, information such as the thoughts, opinions, or knowledge of various users with only the registration of keywords.
