<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory module compatible with various specifications for computers and capable of accessing all memory cells. <P>SOLUTION: A memory module 20 comprises: a semiconductor memory 22; a nonvolatile memory 23 for storing specific data; and a control circuit 21 including a power supply part 25 and an operation mode setting part 27. The power supply part 25 activates the operation mode setting part 27 and the nonvolatile memory 23 by using either of the power supplies: a first supply voltage Va to the semiconductor memory 22 and a second supply voltage Vb to the nonvolatile memory 23. The operation mode setting part 27 reads either first specific data SPD1 or second specific data SPD2 on the basis of selection data SPDs, and executes initialization processing for setting an operation mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
