<p>Proposed is a valve (1) for controlling volume flows of a coolant in a heating and/or cooling system of a motor vehicle, having a valve housing (10, 12, 14, 25) with at least one inlet duct (18) and with at least one outlet duct (20, 22), wherein in the valve housing (10, 12, 14) there is provided at least one valve disc (28) which is arranged so as to be rotatable about the axis (31) of a shaft (30) and which influences the connection between the at least one inlet duct (18) and the at least one outlet duct (20, 22) of the valve (1). According to the invention, a bypass duct (72) and a bypass valve (74, 99) with a passive magnetic circuit (86) and with a restoring mechanism (76) driven by the valve disc (28) are arranged in the valve housing (10, 12, 14) between the at least one inlet duct (18) and the at least one outlet duct (20, 22), via which bypass duct and bypass valve the at least one inlet duct (18) and the at least one outlet duct (20, 22) can be connected to one another in the event of overheating of the coolant.</p> |
