<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic flux varying rotary electric machine wherein it is possible to reduce the size of a power generation part that generates a driving force for a movable rotor, vary an amount of effective magnetic flux of the rotary electric machine under a large load or when high-speed rotation, and achieve an efficient operation over a wide operation range. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic flux varying rotary electric machine includes a stator having a winding, a rotor which is rotatably placed with a gap against the stator and divided into a first rotor and a second rotor in the direction of the rotating shaft and in which field magnets different in polarity are alternately arranged in the direction of rotation, and a magnetic flux varying device that varies the position of the second rotor relative to the first rotation in the direction of the rotating shaft. The magnetic flux varying device includes a power generation part and a power transmission part that transmits power generated at the power generation part to the second rotor and the first rotor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
