The dowel (1) has sleeve-shaped dowel shank (2) made of plastic with expansion region (3) that is expandable by spreader along longitudinal axis (L) of dowel. A screw element (12) with opening is provided on shank, through which expansion element is introduced. The screw element for receiving a spreader is pivoted from initial position into swung holding position along longitudinal axis, upon insertion of spreader. A holding element (13) is arranged in screw element, such that holding element in holding position is protruded in radial direction over the shank. |
