The present invention relates to a stereoscopic image display device which includes: a display panel which includes an upper substrate where a left eye display region and a right eye display region displaying a right eye image are alternately defined and a lower substrate bonded to the upper substrate; a black stripe which is arranged in the upper surface of the upper substrate and is arranged to be overlapped with the boundary part of the left eye display region and the right eye display region; an overcoat layer arranged in the upper surface of the upper substrate; and a patterned retarder which is arranged in the upper part of the overcoat layer and includes a left eye retarder arranged to correspond to the left eye display region and a right eye retarder arranged to correspond to the right eye display region. A region corresponding to the block stripe in the block stripe and the overcoat layer has a concave part in a substrate direction. According to the present invention, a damage error such as delamination of an overcoat and a black stripe which can be generated in a transfer process can be prevented.
