1. An electronic apparatus comprising:
a first communication unit that includes a first connector, wherein the first connector is used for connecting a first external device, and the first communication unit communicates via the first connector; a second communication unit that includes a second connector, wherein the second connector is used for connecting a second external device, the second connector is different from the first connector, and the second communication unit communicates via the second connector; and a transmitting unit that transmits a command for determining whether the first external device is a sink device if the first connector and the first external device are connected; and a control unit that (a) determines, using the command, whether the first external device is the sink device if the first external device is connected to the first connector and the second external device is not connected to the second connector, (b) sets a mode of the first communication unit to a first mode if the first external device, determined to be the sink device, is connected to the first connector and the second external device is not connected to the second connector, and (c) sets a mode of the second communication unit to a second mode if the first external device, determined to be the sink device, is connected to the first connector and the second external device is not connected to the second connector, wherein the first mode is used for transmitting at least one of image data and audio data, and the second mode is used for receiving at least one of image data and audio data.
