MICRO POWER GENERATOR AND POWER GENERATION METHOD USING LIQUID DROPLET

The present invention relates to a micro power generator and a power generation method using liquid droplets which produce electricity by using AC voltage induced by a change of contact area between liquid droplets and an electrode plate due to vibration. The micro power generator according to the present invention includes a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate disposed adjacent to each other to face each other, liquid droplets including ions located between a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate, and a power generation part which changes the contact area with regard to the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, respectively, according to the vibration of one of the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate as time passes and produces electricity by using AC voltage generated between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate. At least one of the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate has at least one of a hydrophobic or a hydrophilic property on a surface touching the liquid drops.
