The video processing apparatus comprises: a central video processing unit which communicates with a host and parses parameter information or slice header information from video data inputted from the host; and a plurality of video processing units for processing the video according the parsed information by being controlled by the central video processing unit. The central video processing unit communicates with the host in a picture unit and communicates with each of the video processing units by dividing the video in a slice or tile unit according to the parsed information.</p>
