摘要 A pyrolytic reactor, comprising an inner drum having a circumferential wall formed with a plurality of apertures, an outer drum surrounding the inner drum and defining a clearance therebetween, a feeding device for feeding a plurality of feedstock pieces to the interior of the inner drum, an inlet port through which heat carrier gases flow and are directed to said clearance, for introduction of the heat carrier gases via said plurality of apertures to the inner drum interior and causing pyrolysis of the fed feedstock pieces, a conveyor for transporting a plurality of solid residue pieces produced from a pyrolytic process, and an outlet port through which product vapors and gases, heat depleted heat carrier gases, and the plurality of solid residue pieces are discharged.

A pyrolytic reactor, comprising: a) a rotatable inner drum having a perforated circumferential wall formed with a plurality of apertures; b) a rotatable outer drum surrounding, and connected to, said inner drum and defining a clearance therebetween; c) a feeding device for feeding a plurality of feedstock pieces to the interior of said inner drum at an inlet end thereof; d) a stationary inlet port through which heat carrier gases flow and are directed to said clearance, for introduction of said heat carrier gases via said plurality of apertures to a selected region of the inner drum interior to cause pyrolysis of said fed feedstock pieces by means of a cross flow of said heat carrier gases and resulting intimate contact between said heat carrier gases and said feedstock pieces; e) means for controlling the longitudinal flow rate of said heat carrier gases through said clearance to ensure an increased heat influx at said inlet end of said inner drum than at a discharge end of said inner drum; f) conveying means for transporting a plurality of solid residue pieces produced from a pyrolytic process; and g) a stationary outlet port through which product vapors and gases, heat depleted heat carrier gases, and the plurality of solid residue pieces are discharged.
