1. A lubricating base oil manufacturing plant, comprising:
(a) a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis plant which comprises a Fischer-Tropsch derived wax having:
I. a weight ratio of compounds having at least 60 or more carbon atoms and compounds having at least 30 carbon atoms less than 0.18;II. greater than about 75 mass percent normal paraffin; andIII. a difference between the T90 and T10 boiling points of at least 171° F. (95° C.); (b) a hydroisomerization reactor comprising a catalyst comprising a shape selective intermediate pore size molecular sieve which is operated at a hydrogen to feed ratio from about at 712.4 to about 3562 liter H2/liter feed (about 4 to about 20 MSCF/bbl); wherein the hydroisomerization reactor is configured to receive said Fischer-Tropsch wax from the synthesis plant; and (c) a reactor comprising a hydrofinishing catalyst which is configured to receive the hydroisomerized Fischer-Tropsch derived wax; wherein the base oil manufacturing plant comprises one or more lubricating base oils produced from the Fischer-Tropsch wax having:
I. greater than 10 weight percent total molecules with cycloparaffinic functionality, andII. less than 0.5 weight percent of molecules with multicycloparaffinic functionality.
