Systems, methods, and apparatus are provided for device sensing in white space, by identifying, classifying and cataloging sources of signal emission based on radio frequency measurements. In an embodiment, signal emission devices are analyzed by automatically detecting signals, analyzing signals, comparing signal data to historical and reference data, and creating corresponding unique signal profiles. The detected, analyzed and compared data may be presented to a user. |

1. A method of identifying signal emitting devices comprising steps of:
providing at least one apparatus, a network, and at least one server computer and/or at least one other apparatus; wherein the server computer includes a database; wherein the apparatus and the other apparatus include a housing, at least one processor, at least one memory, and at least one sensor; wherein the apparatus does not require a connection to the server computer to be operable for identifying at least one signal emitting device; the apparatus sensing and measuring at least one wireless communications signal from the signal emitting device to create measured data; the apparatus calculating signal degradation of the wireless communication signal using hardware parameters, environment parameters and terrain data; the apparatus analyzing the measured data and the signal degradation to identify the signal emitting device in near real-time. |
