摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a method for producing a wax gourd extract having improved anti-oxidation and to an anti-oxidant functional food composition, wherein the wax gourd extract having improved anti-oxidation and produced by means of the method is included as an active ingredient. Moreover, the present invention provides a cosmetic composition for preventing skin-aging including a wax gourd extract as an active ingredient. The cosmetic composition may be a cosmetic composition for alleviating wrinkles. The wax gourd extract produced by means of the method of the present invention has remarkably improved anti-oxidation and includes excellent skin-aging preventing functions, specifically wrinkle alleviating functions. The method of the present invention has excellent extraction yield compared to an existing extracting method, and the wax gourd extract used as an active ingredient in the present invention is a natural material so that side effects do not occur. Accordingly, the anti-oxidant functional food composition can be widely used in food and cosmetic industries.</p>
