摘要 |

The present invention relates to a methylation biomarker specific to exposure to Perfluorooctane Sulfonates (PFOS), which is a type of perfluorinated compounds (PFCs), and a method for identification of the exposure using the biomarker and, more specifically, to a marker gene specific to exposure to PFOS having a promoter region in a certain gene which is specifically methylated by the PFOS and a method for providing information for identification of the exposure to PFOS. The methylation marker of the present invention uses the methylated promoter region of a gene selected by a DNA methylation microarray chip as a biomarker, thereby being useful for monitoring and determining the exposure to PFOS more accurately and rapidly than the conventional methods, and useful as a tool for identifying the mechanism of cytotoxic effect induced by PFOS.
|
