The present invention is applicable to the technical field of computer communications, and provides a method and a system for transferring speech information. The method comprises the following steps: receiving speech data collected by a first talkback terminal; cyclically detecting whether the size of collected speech data reaches a preset threshold value; and uploading, when the size of the collected speech data reaches the preset threshold value, or when the size of the collected speech data does not reach the preset threshold value and a speech information end symbol is contained, the collected speech data to a transit server through a preset network, thereby implementing asynchronous collection and upload. The present invention solves the problem of prolonged time for transferring talkback data because an effective method for transferring talkback data fails to be provided in the prior art, and through asynchronous collection and upload of speech data, the delay of talkback is reduced and the user experience of a talkback terminal is enhanced.
