A wearable electronic device is disclosed. The wearable electronic device comprises: a transparent or transmissive lens unit; a communications unit which receives additional service information associated with audiovisual content from a display device which displays the audiovisual content; a camera unit which captures a foreground recognized by a sight of a wearable electronic device wearer; a display unit which displays additional information on the lens unit so as to provide visual additional information by addition to the foreground recognized by the sight of the wearable electronic device wearer; and a control unit which controls the display unit so as to display the received additional service information as the additional information.
