A method of playing digital rights management (DRM) content is disclosed. The DRM content playing method according to the present invention comprises: a step of receiving a single executing file including data for a media player and DRM content; a step of detecting data for an advertisement interval from the received data for the DRM content; a step of acknowledging whether it is paid for the DRM content by using the detected data for the advertisement interval; and a step of controlling whether the data for the advertisement content is to be deleted from the data for the DRM content according to the acknowledged result.
