A method of detecting carnivore plague virus RNA by reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction comprises detecting in the test samples of specific nucleic acid fragments by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). To perform RT-PCR, designed and artificially synthesized oligonucleotide primers are used.
