The negative electrode includes a negative electrode current collector, and a negative electrode active material layer formed over the negative electrode current collector, and including a plurality of columnar bodies. An organic material layer having ion conductivity is held by said negative electrode active material layer, said organic material layer is formed at least in an inside of each of said columnar bodies. The active material layer may include silicon.
