<p>PURPOSE: A variable compression ratio device is provided to ensure simplified configuration by excluding oil pressure or an electric motor for rotating an eccentric bearing. CONSTITUTION: A variable compression ratio device comprises a variable block(400) which is fitted to a piton pin, hooks(410) which are extended from both sides of the variable block in opposite directions and formed with locking grooves, and a latching pin which is inserted in an insertion hole formed through the upper side of a connecting rod(200) and selectively protrudes from a side of the piston to hold the locking groove of one of the hooks. The mounting height of the piston is changed according to which hook is caught on the latching pin.</p> |
