<p>According to the present invention, a method of refining molten ferromanganese includes injecting oxygen inside a refining furnace in which molten ferromanganese is accommodated to decarbonize the molten ferromanganese; operating a hood located at an upper side of the refining furnace during the decarbonization to absorb the molten ferromanganese; finishing decarbonization by finishing oxygen injection; and reducing the amount of substance introduced to the hood after the oxygen injection is finished to be less than the amount of substance introduced to the hood during the decarbonization. Therefore, according to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, the amount of atmospheric air introduced to the molten ferromanganese after the decarbonization is finished can be minimized, thereby suppressing nitrogen from being dissolved in the molten ferromanganese and minimizing the increase in the concentration of nitrogen in the molten ferromanganese after the decarbonization is finished. Also, as a supply source of Si is inserted after the decarbonization is finished, solubility and absorption speed of nitrogen are reduced to minimize the increase in the concentration of nitrogen in the molten ferromanganese after the decarbonization is finished.</p> |
