Fire-resistant cable comprises copper conductors, insulation, an inner shell and an outer shell. On top of each coated conductor winding by winding a fireproof barrier is applied, as glass-mica tape, insulation is made of resin, for example, of halogen free polyolefin-based composition, ceramic-forming rubber, crosslinked polyethylene. The inner shell is made of a highly filled polymer halogen-free polyolefin-based composition and contains 70% of chalk. The outer shell is made of halogen-free polyolefin-based composition with fillers, such as chalk and aluminum hydroxide, for flame suppression and low gas-smoke emission. |
