A method of manufacturing an elastic feather key includes manufacturing of a blank as a ring and installation there of consisting two parts special inserts to form the inner cavity of the key, followed by compression of the preform perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the insert. Formation of inner cavity of elastic feather key is performed with placed in the preform as a tube, in an amount of not less than three, long-length cylindrical rods, with longitudinal axes parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tube, and the diameter of long cylindrical rods is defined by the expression:,where- the diameter of long cylindrical rod;- outer diameter of the tube;- the key width;- key wall thickness;- number of long cylindrical rods in the tube, followed by separation with mechanical means, such as cutting, of separate key from the workpiece to the heightwith formed internal cavity, which corresponds by outline to the outer outline of the elastic feather key with rounded ends. |
