FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. A prosthesis for replacement of at least a portion of the tubular bone and an adjoining joint comprises an elongated rod with the first and second ends, a pivot mechanism on the second end of the rod, a length adjustment mechanism telescopically displacing the rod along its axis. The rod and pivot mechanism are coupled by complementary connectors. The length adjustment mechanism is modular and additionally provided with an anti-rotation mechanism actuated by low rpm seating. The length adjustment mechanism is provided with the complementary connectors on its proximal and distal ends. The male connector is provided on one of the two ends, proximal or distal, of the length adjustment mechanism, while the female connector is provided on another of the two ends, proximal or distal.
