The present invention relates to a method for inducing a debit type payment. According to the present invention, the method for inducing the debit type payment is performed by a payment apparatus which includes a card reader unit, a communications processing unit, and a sound output unit. The method for inducing the debit type payment comprises: a first step of storing issuance company discrimination information for discriminating M number of issuance companies (M>=1) that have issued debit type payment means and storing voice comment information indicating that payment will be made through a debit type payment means of a specific issuance company with respect to the M number of issuance companies; a second step of discriminating the issuance company of the debit type payment means provided in the interfaced card of the client, based on the issuance company discrimination information, when a card of a client is interfaced through the card reader unit, and determining whether an N number of debit type payment means (N>=2), of which the issuance companies are different, are provided; a third step of confirming a bank debit type payment means that is connected to a payment approval server of an issuance company side through the communications processing unit among the N number of debit type payment means and is issued by a bank, and determining the bank debit type payment means as a preferred debit type payment means; and a fourth step of outputting a voice comment that the payment will be made by the determined debit type payment tool, through the sound output unit. |
