A digital rights management (DRM) content trading method for a server is disclosed. The digital rights management (DRM) content trading method according to the present invention comprises: a step of receiving a selling request for first DRM content, which is possessed by a seller side terminal device; a step of receiving the first purchased DRM content from the seller side terminal device and a license for the purchased first DRM content, when the first DRM content is purchased according to the selling request; a step of receiving advertisement content, which is to be inserted into the received first DRM content, from an advertisement management server; a step of generating second DRM content by inserting the received advertisement content to the received first DRM content; and a step of transmitting the second DRM content to a buyer side terminal device, when a selling request for the second DRM content is received from the buyer side terminal device.
