<p>A wireless body sensor device and a transmission power control method thereof are disclosed. The transmission power control method comprises the following steps: periodically measuring received signal strength indications of transmission/reception of data to/from another wireless body sensor device; setting a weighting factor corresponding to the location of a wireless body sensor device; calculating a received signal strength indication an error of which is corrected using the current received signal strength indication, previous received signal strength indication, and weighting factor; determining whether to increase or decrease transmission power according to the error-corrected received signal strength indication; periodically measuring acceleration values which are generated by the motion of a person; calculating an acceleration level value indicating the difference between the current and previous acceleration values; and adjusting the level of the transmission power according to the calculated acceleration level value.</p> |
