An apparatus for correcting slab bending according to the present invention includes: a plurality of bending guide units arranged in line with each other, spaced apart from each other, arranged between a plurality of driving rolls to transfer a slab, having rotatable guide rolls, and rotatable around one axis; a plurality of water dropping devices installed above the bending guide units and having nozzles to spray cooling water to the slabs; a cooling water feeding part including a plurality of feeding pipes to supply the cooling water to the water dropping devices; and a water drop adjusting unit installed between the water dropping devices and the feeding pipes, connected with the bending guide units, rotatable together with the bending guide units, and adjusting an amount of cooling water supplied to the water dropping devices according to the bending degree of the slab. Therefore, according to the embodiments of the present invention, the cooling water is sprayed to the bent portion of the slab, and not sprayed to the portion of the slab, which is not bent, thereby preventing the slab from being reversely bent. In addition, amounts of sprayed cooling water can be variously adjusted according to the bending degrees of the regions of the slab, thereby preventing the slab from being reversely bent as an excessive amount of cooling water is sprayed. Accordingly, the bent slab can be effectively corrected, so that the quality of the slab can be improved. The failure of the facilities caused by the bent slab can be reduced. |
