The invention relates to a rotationally symmetrical elastic coupling having an annular hub (1) which is composed of a substantially rigid material and which is surrounded by an outer ring (2) composed of soft, resiliently elastic material, wherein an inlay ring (5) composed of a substantially rigid material is embedded in the outer ring (2). In order, in a coupling of said type, to be able to vary the stiffness of the coupling in a wide range of variation and in a finely graduated manner at low cost despite the use of a permanently soft, resiliently elastic material for the outer ring (2), the invention proposes that the inlay ring be composed of a partially crystalline thermoplastic polymer. Said polymer expediently has substantially the same density as the resiliently elastic material, and is preferably a polyamide. |
